Description

General features:

The big advantage of this CO2 meter is that the value is always visible and is indicated in color, red means poor air quality and green means the air quality is okay.

The High-quality non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) gas sensor with CO2 measuring range up to 5000 ppm provides ventilation advice based on the measured CO2 concentration in the air. This unit also measures humidity and temperature.

Ideal for public buildings such as hairdressers, schools, gyms, museums, sports clubs, etc. But also just a good way to measure the air quality at home.

This air quality monitor warns you to ventilate more if the air quality is not good enough. The quality can be read by the values on the meter. You also receive ventilation advice because the color of the advice block changes.

CO2 levels and guidelines

  • 400 ~ 600 ppm: Background (normal) outdoor air level.
  • 600 ~ 1.000 ppm: Typical level for occupied spaces with good air circulation.
  • 000 ~ 1.500 ppm: Start ventilation of the room.
  • 500 ~ 2.000 ppm: Level associated with complaints of drowsiness and bad air.
    Ventilation recommended!
  • 000 ~ 5.000 ppm: Level associated with headaches, drowsiness, and stagnant, stale, congested air. Poor concentration, loss of attention, rapid heart rate and mild nausea may also occur. Ventilation highly recommended!
  • 000 ppm: Exposure can lead to severe oxygen deficiency, which can lead to permanent brain damage, coma and death. Requires immediate ventilation!

Before first use:
The values are displayed within 2,5 minutes. It will then (automatically) calibrate the device for another 24 hours to then display accurate measurements. This process repeats when you move the device, for example to measure the air quality in another room. This process enables the CO2 meter to guarantee accurate measurements.
