CALIBRATION

Your device requires maintenance, including calibration. Preventive maintenance prevents unnecessary downtime and guarantees the functioning and reliability of your device. We recommend that you submit your alcohol tester for maintenance every 500 tests or at least every 12 months.

  • The usefulness of calibration:
The sensor of your device must be checked regularly and adjusted back to zero
Every test administered can shift the zero point. The more tests are administered, the more the zero point will shift.
  • If the test is often used to test high alcohol concentrations, this will have an additional effect on the shift of the zero point.
If the device is not or hardly used, this will affect the sensitivity of the sensor.
  • Your warranty will be void if the calibration intervals are not respected
The device's operating instructions state after how much time or how many tests (whichever comes first) it must be calibrated. Usually this is 6 months/500 tests or 1 year/1000 tests.

Calibration by Alcoline

Alcoline has an in-house calibration/repair shop where your device is calibrated or repaired quickly and professionally.

Which devices can we calibrate?

In principle, we calibrate every alcohol tester purchased from Alcoline. If desired, we also calibrate devices purchased elsewhere, provided they are comparable models or if the calibration instructions are known to us. Ask us for a quote. The date for the next calibration is stated on the service sticker on the device. If this is missing, you can assume an interval of approximately 6 to 12 months after the date of purchase.

Send your device including the Calibration Return Form to our address.

Do not forget to postage your shipment sufficiently and preferably send it with a track & trace code. We only need your device, you do not need to send the packaging and accessories. For more details, please feel free to contact us by completing the contact form, emailing to info@alcoline.be or to call 32 (0) 36 331535 .
