Drug test – simple and safe sample collection
The Dräger DrugCheck 3000 consists of one packaged component: a test cassette with an integrated removable absorbent rod for sampling the saliva for analysis. The test cassette contains an ampoule with buffer liquid and a viewing window with two test strips, which show the control and test lines. The drug test itself is performed in three simple steps: take a saliva sample with the swab, shake the test kit and start the test after a short pre-incubation period.
The color indicator on the sample stick disappears once sufficient saliva has been absorbed for a test. As soon as the control lines appear in the viewing window, you can read the results. If the test result is negative, a line will appear in the area of the relevant substance class (drug). This means that the substance tested was not found in the sample. If no line appears in the area of a substance class (drug), the result for this substance is positive. This means that the tested substance has been found.
Fast and sensitive analysis
The Dräger DrugCheck 3000 can simultaneously detect up to six drugs/drug groups in saliva samples: cocaine, opiates, amphetamine, methamphetamine/designer drugs (e.g. Ecstasy, MDMA), benzodiazepines and cannabis (THC). Of all the substance classes mentioned, cannabis is the most commonly used drug, but also the most difficult substance to detect (THC = delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol). This is why the Dräger DrugCheck 3000 has been optimized specifically for the detection of THC with two measurement options: depending on the chosen waiting time (pre-incubation) of the test, there is a fast mode with a higher or a sensitive mode with a low THC detection limit (cut-off). The entire drug test takes only 3 to 5 minutes, depending on the desired sensitivity. For the specific Dräger DrugCheck 3000 NL (5-panel), only the quick mode applies as a measurement option, where the drugs/drug types found are displayed within 3 minutes with a test line in the viewing window.
Unambiguous drug detection on site
Thanks to its extremely compact design, the DrugCheck 3000 is easy to transport. It is quickly and easily ready for use and can be used flexibly, such as traffic controls and testing at workplaces where safety is important. The test kit has no electrical or metal parts and can therefore be used safely in any environment.

Dräger has decades of experience in the field of alcohol measuring equipment and drug detection methods. For the DrugCheck 3000, Dräger uses the testing principle of the proven Dräger DrugTest 5000 system, which reliably detects even minute traces of THC. The single-use DrugCheck 3000 test kit cannot be tampered with and is very hygienic to use.
